On the site of the demolished, outdated Chapel of Rest in Nevlje, a modern farewell hall has been designed—one that the town had been anticipating for years. Two terraces at different elevations characterize the location: the church sits on the upper level. At the same time, the new Chapel of Rest is positioned on the lower level, partially embedded into the terrain so as not to obstruct the view of St. George’s Church. In addition to the main Chapel of Rest, the facility includes a covered farewell platform, a kitchenette, restrooms, and a storage area for funeral accessories.
